To support this growth, we are looking for a self-motivated and experienced:
Scrum Master
Location: Warsaw
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as servant-leader to an agile team; removing impediments and ensuring team productivity
- Protect the team from distractions and interruptions
- Lead Sprint Planning sessions ensuring the commitments made are appropriate and uphold scrum principles.
- Lead daily scrum standup meetings
- Lead team retrospectives and ensure key learning is incorporated into next sprint
- Track team delivery on commitments through the use of burndown charts and other visual methods
- Track team velocity to ensure accuracy of future planning
- Work with the Product Owner to understand the business priorities and items to be groomed in upcoming sprints
- Ensure Product Owner is informed if changes occur that impact delivery to the business
- Drive weekly backlog grooming sessions with the team, ensuring work items are estimated and ‘ready-to-work’ per the Product Owners priorities
- Educates and focuses a Team toward business-driven development
- Ensure cross-team coordination
- Ensure and support Empowerment of the Team
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the team

MUST HAVE
- Scrum Master certification
- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
- Knowledge of Agile techniques: User Stories, BDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
- Understanding of basic fundamentals of iterative development.
- Understanding of basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of the technologies used by the team
- Understanding of backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition
- Excellent communication (in English and Polish) and mentoring skills
- Good knowledge of English
