Job Description:
- Responsible for translation of business needs into system and process solutions of data mapping, migration and integration concepts into system and process solutions through the technical design, customizing, interface design, development specifications etc. in data management functionalities in SAP
- Influence on standardization of requirements in data management, ensures consistency of proposed solutions with the core model, communicates and stresses the benefits of standardization within design of IT Architecture
- Serves as an interface between business and IT department or internal/external service providers within Relationship Management
- Solves master data related issues (quality, integration, ect.)
- Responsible in her/his respective area in all stages of a project (workshops, developments, delivery, tests, cut over, hand-over to support organization, etc.)
- Proactively identifies core model areas of improvement
- Can lead projects in her/his area of expertise
Requirements:
- Knowhow within interface technologies ALE, IDOC and the middleware technology SAP-PI (Process Integration)
- Experienced in master data management processes for materials, business partners, customers and suppliers, classes and characteristics, accounts, cost and profit centers and organizational objects with ability of designing and developing solutions in SAP
- Good knowledge of processes and integration of SAP modules FI/CO with knowhow of the dependencies between the moduls (AA, AR, AP, GL)
- Basic knowledge in economics. Knowledge of workflow technologies would be an advantage
- Experienced in building data extraction, data cleansing , data mapping, data migration and data quality assurance tools
- Ability to check master data readiness to conclude migration or integration processes and to meet business process requirements
- Understanding of complete processes (beyond direct area of expertise) and multi layer dependencies
- Ability to work in non-hierarchical, international and cross-functional teams
- Outstanding communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel
- Knowledge of German would be an advantage
