- As Solution Design Team Lead you would be a part of the B2ST process team of a large international SAP ERP implementation program (B2ST stands for Buy To Scrap Technology Assets). The B2ST team is responsible for the template solution based on SAP ERP (modules PM, MM, SD, FI, CO, with large share custom build components) and roll outs of it in the country subsidiaries in Europe.
Responsibilities:
- As Solution Design Lead you would manage a team of 10 consultants through the project lifecycle, reporting to Project IT Lead, and collaborating closely with other team leads (primarily Business Design, Build, Test).
- You would be responsible, as main solution architect in B2ST area, for providing the optimal and consistent solutions based on SAP standard as much as possible.
- You would also act as Solution Designer in the scope of your functional module skills. In this role you would interact with local country teams and Business Designers to come up to a relevant system solution for new requirements, to close the gaps for local specific expectations and further enhance the existing Template.
- You would drive the Design phase – planning and monitoring the progress of team’s deliverables (via SAP Solution Manager).
- Occasionally you would also support Build team (performing configuration), Test team or Migration/Cutover teams or you would delegate your team members to do so.
- You would also support intensive care after Go-live and take responsibility for transition of the solution to Maintenance team.
Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of at least one of the SAP areas: Logistics, Plant Maintenance or Finance/Controlling.
- Team leading / project management experience.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills, experience with international project teams
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly self-assured, self-motivated and with strong ownership
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Nice to have:
- Consulting experience
- German language (communicative)
