The position is responsible for the maintenance, improvement, and efficient use of the SAP project systems module and other related business systems and serves as subject matter experts in the areas of manufacturing and logistics.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
- Five or more years of professional experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities & standard project mgt concepts
- Effective analytical and problem solving skills
- Requires knowledge of the appropriate business system and functional practices it supports
- Travel 25-50%
- Good communication skills & strong team work ability
- Fluent verbal, reading and writing in English
- Daily support and improvement of business system operations
- Trouble shoot technical and function problems, implement system solutions, and provide system support as required
- Serve as Project Manager for initiatives that are driven by business requirements or requested enhancements
- Evaluate user requests for system enhancements or customized reports.
- Provide documentation to outline proper use of business systems by developing procedures and providing training to end users
- Create and implement standardized business processes
- Identify engineering change orders/service packs for software upgrades. Test, Document, and implement changes for all databases
- Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities as it relates to IS business systems
- Conducts research and development activities to understand emerging and/or critical information technologies and how they can be leveraged by the company
- Act as a technical consultant on strategic and/or global IS projects to support new technology introduction or troubleshoot significant technical problems
