Our customer, Polish branch of the multinational group manufacturing and selling the adhesives, due to further development on the Polish market, is looking for candidates suitable for the position of :
Sales Manager Flooring and Floor Preparation
region: Wielkopolska
Manages sales of the company products and solutions on the territory of Poland for the following market segments:
- Flooring (Parquet, Resilient, Tiles).
- Floor preparation (self-levelling, mortars, screeds, primers etc.).
Ensures consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through planning, development and management of sales personnel.
Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long- term sales and margin.
Core Functions:
- Collaborates with Regional and European Sales and Marketing leaders and country Managing director in establishing realistic sales goals for within defined market segments.
- Establishes strong performance management culture in his team to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
- Coaches, apprises and trains sales personnel.
Major Job responsibilities:
- Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in accordance with local commercial and pricing policy.
- Develops and manages sales personnel to ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets.
- Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company and recommends corrective actions.
- Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
- Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all assigned product lines.
- Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
- Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.
- Collaborates with regional and local marketing and product management teams to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all assigned product lines.
- Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
- Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of new products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies etc.
- Collaborates with regional and local marketing to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and advertising expenses.
- Reviews sales expenses and recommends economies.
- Holds regular meeting with sales staff.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; or a minimum of seven years of related experience or training in resilient or hard flooring sector, civil engineering; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.
- Proven previous experience in managing direct sales and distribution.
- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
- Deep understanding of sales process in construction sector in Poland.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Good command of English (both oral and writing)
