Sales Ledger Clerk with Spanish or Portuguese

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sales Ledger Clerk is responsible for ensuring all incoming payments are correctly allocated to customer invoices. This role is responsible for processing very high volumes of payments for EMEA. Typical tasks, you would be engaged with, during a common working day:
- checking for any payments that need allocating and paying,
- reconciliation of payments to BACS,
- recording the batches posted,
- running the unmatched cash report,
- chasing customers for remittance advice’s,
- forwarding credits (and debits),
- reviewing of outstanding debits,
- escalation of issues to Sales Ledger Team Leader.
REQUIREMENTS
- High level of attention to detail,
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially good Excel skills,
- Basic understanding of account processes,
- High English skills,
- Advance Spanish or Portuguese skills,
- Accurate data entry skills,
- Basic knowledge of Oracle system is an advantage.
