Responsibilities:
Develop and manage profitable business for all possible POSperita products and services within an agreed and defined customer base (list attached).
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed volume and margin sales for POSperita business within a defined customer base (see attached list)
- Manage the development of the agreed customer base to achieve and retain an acceptable number of grade A and grade B type customers.
- Negotiate and implement agreed credit terms for all POSperita business sold.
- Accurately liase and report on client briefs received to ensure clarity for POSperita operations staff
- Ensure you achieve the maximum productive business building time through disciplined control of maintenance activities.
- Implement a professional presentation to develop profitable sales for POSperita.
- Initiate and participate in sales team solutions, brainstorming teams and future search projects to help identify responses to key customer needs and opportunities.
- Provide accurate job briefs and project assessments to POSperita operations and estimator to assist in completion of technical specifications and production best price estimates.
- Accurately convert sold briefs into POSperita job briefs.
- Accurately interpret customers expressed needs and briefs to ensure the most cost effective and innovative solutions within their budgetary allocations.
- Provide customers with accurate user-friendly feedback on jobs in progress, general queries and finishing and installation deadlines.
- Job InputIdentify the key person responsible for retail sales in each client organisation.
- Identify the key people reporting to the head of sales in each client organisation.
- Visit and evaluate two or more retail branches before the first client meeting
- Prepare and update a formal meeting approach for achieving meetings
- Prepare and update a customer objection list with appropriate replies.
- Discuss and seek approval for "formal meeting approach" and "replies" to client objections
- Prepare a weekly report by 2pm each Friday (1x A4 page standard format to be agreed)
- Plan for the next week (highlighting research time, store visit time, client meeting time)
- Activities from previous week (highlighting research time, store visit time, client meeting time) Client complaints

- Make X no. prospect telephone calls each week to arrange new business development meetings
- Make X no new business development calls each week
- Make X no maintenance calls / visits each week
