Sales Executive, Shortsea
LOCATION: Gdynia
Key responsibilities:
- Commercial activities aimed at increasing the customer base in the region.
- Meeting the sales targets of the organization through effective sales planning and budgeting.
- Creating new opportunities for the organization in cooperation with corporate regional sales managers and sales team in Europe.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction and business retention.
- Maintaining necessary data, records and reporting for future reference.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales role within the logistics and transportation industry
- Ability to build a deep understanding of customers’ needs, thereafter identifying further opportunities.
- Good understanding of logistics and forwarding products, intermodal solutions, pricing terminology and competitive landscape in the European market.
- Proven track record of developing customers.
- Ability to build strong relationships and network locally as well as globally.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated, performance-driven and sense of urgency for goal achievement.
- Creativity in idea generating and problem solving.
- Extravertive, enthusiastic and persuasive selling style.
- Very good command of English language. Knowledge of Russian/Lithuanian/Latvian/Slovak language as a strong asset.
- University degree in maritime transport, logistics or economics.
