Located in Wroclaw office, you will be responsible for developing the RTR team, transform current RTR processes realised in various EMEA locations and transition them to Wrocław. The position will be also responsible for controlling cost and compliance to Polish statutory and tax regulations. This is a key finance leadership role.
Reporting to the SSC Director, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as EMEA Finance, IT and business leadership, the abroad based headquarters finance team, auditors, and governmental authorities. Key responsibilities (to name a few):
- Manages the RTR department activities. This encompasses the supervision and control of all GL and FA activities – Month End Close activities and fixed asset accounting - for a number of entities in EMEA countries.
- Compliance to Polish statutory and tax regulation.
- Controlling cost.
- Produces timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financials in line with timetable and in line with company standards (US GAAP).
- First contact for the Auditing Company during Year-End Closing and preparation of the Annual Report.
- Assures that all accounting procedures are in accordance with company policies and procedures and with all local laws and regulations.
- Manages the RTR team to ensure realization MEC process according to business expectations, measured by KPIs.
- Manages the establishment of the RTR team in Wrocław:
- Recruit team members.
- Set up an accounting system in coordination with Group EMEA strategy (e.g. SAP).
- Transfer RTR activities from various EMEA locations.
- Stabilize RTR process and deliver best-in-class service.
- Document all RTE activities to ensure business continuity despite personnel attrition.
- Drive continues improvement activities to deliver process efficiencies targets.
- Compliant to SOX procedures.
- Establish Risk Management Procedures and plans for emergencies.
Requirements:
- 7-10 of years of progressive Finance/ Accounting experience in an international company.
- Master degree preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- Perfect knowledge of the RTR process.
- Perfect knowledge of polish tax and accounting rules for SSC.
- Experience partnering effectively throughout an organization to develop and drive regional initiatives.
- High level interpersonal and leadership skills; must be able to influence and coach across multiple levels within the company and locations; including establishing regional partnerships.
- Demonstrated understanding of regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated business acumen, problem-solving skills and attention to detail under pressure.
- Change management leadership capability and demonstrated people management skills.
- Track record of process improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications and Accounting/ ERP systems (SAP experience beneficial).
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Seldom travel to the supported locations.
