We are looking for:
The RTC Voice Support Lead (Lync / Skype for Business) will play an advanced role in a dynamic team responsible for operational support of a Global Skype for Business 2013 implementation with Enterprise Voice capabilities for over 60,000 users. This role will serve as a senior specialist on the operations team, leading the voice services support function, including service quality, integration, branch resiliency, and in-room technologies. This also includes leading operational SWAT teams in triage, troubleshooting, and resolution of voice-based incidents.

Leading operational teams to troubleshoot incidents escalated from L1 Support and Local Help Desk for the Lync environment

Ensuring the highest quality experience for Voice components of the Lync platform
-
Defining and implementing best practices and policies to support environment stability
-
Supporting application developers in the integration of business applications into the collaboration platform
-
Mentoring junior resources to develop key technical and support skills and enhance the team's capabilities
-
Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Lync 2010 | Lync 2013 | Skype for Business, including supporting two or more of the following functions / capabilities:

Core Lync functionality on desktop and mobile clients
-
Integration with Microsoft and custom applications
-
Functionality requiring Edge infrastructure (e.g., Browser clients, Federation)
-
Enterprise Voice and Call Management features (voice routing, call management, E911, and SIP trunking)

Experience in two or more of the following administrative tasks for Lync 2010 | Lync 2013 | Skype for Business:

User and access management and/or security configuration in the Lync environment
-
Managing backup and restore of environments, and testing and supporting Disaster Recovery
-
Analysis and troubleshooting of user experience and service quality for Collaboration, Video, and Voice features
-
Configuration and use of third party tools for monitoring and administering Lync / Skype environments for incidents and capacity management
-

Strong knowledge of Voice and VoIP technologies (SBC, PBX, Survivable Branch Appliances, etc.)
-
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Routing, Load Balancing, Quality of Service, and other core network technologies
-
Strong knowledge of Firewalls, Proxies, Network Segmentation, Application Security Management (ASM), and other core security services
-
Strong experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages
-
Knowledge of Windows Server administration and support
-
Experience with ITILv3 or delivering services in an ITIL environment
-
Experience providing support in Office 365 and / or Cloud-based collaboration technologies

Experience with Avaya / CISCO VoIP Solution implementation in an enterprise environment
