The Reuters Integrated Marketing team is looking for a Research Manager to surface and champion data-driven insights to arm our global Professional Marketing and Sales departments.

The Research Manager is a solution-oriented team player with the ability to deliver compelling research arguments which will help generate revenue.

Please be advised that for this role we can consider flexible home working, however this position needs to be based in Poland.

About the Role

As our Research Manager you will:

  • Use research to create stories that articulate and demonstrate Reuters audience strength in reaching key demographics versus the international media competitive set.

  • Work and collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to develop and package insights effectively for internal and external use.

  • Work with Sales team to understand specific advertiser objectives and produce compelling research arguments that deliver against these needs, demographics and geographies – to support client and proactive pitch proposals.  

  • Support the Sales team by troubleshooting complex audience inquiries from clients and agencies, through detailed data analysis.

  • Work with the wider integrated Marketing team to agree propositions and convert insights into persuasive communication messaging.

  • Manage relationships, contracts and tools for all third-party research vendors (e.g., Ipsos, Global Web Analytics).

  • Design, manage, analyse and report on custom research projects spanning multiple industries and geographies.

  • Partner with Production, Sales, and Data & Insights teams to ensure all elements of campaign delivery post-sale are executed in a well-coordinated and effective manner.

  • Provide data to help identify and prioritise campaign effectiveness measures to better engage our internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Manage client campaign effectiveness research studies pre, during and post campaigns, developing questionnaires, running surveys and delivering results.

  • Collaborate closely with the Data & Insights team based in NY to gain an understanding of our first party research.

  • Create reports on competitors’ branded content activity.

  • Maintain a research library that is easy to access and use.

To be our Research Manager you will likely have:

  • 8+ years experience in audience and data analytics within the Media/Publishing industry.

  • An interest in staying current on industry trends, technologies and platforms. 

  • Experience with survey design techniques, data analysis, and leading research projects.

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to create a compelling narrative from data-driven insights.

  • Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent storytelling, communications (written and verbal), and presentation skills.

  • Experience in managing small research teams.

  • A collaborative spirit, working well in a team.
