Creation and maintenance of production-ready product specifications and Bills of Material throughout the product lifecycle in accordance with instructions from other R&D departments and machine related data from GSC colleagues at manufacturing plants within JTI's global SAP system in accordance to JTI policies and procedures and their distribution to the respective manufacturing plants in a timely manner.
- Create & maintain accurate & consistent product specifications and bills of material within JTI's global SAP system in a timely manner according to specific instructions in order to ensure the procurement of the correct materials in the correct quantities and the subsequent manufacture fully conforming products.
- Adhere to, and maintain, department-specific processes and related documentation, e.g. regular data quality checks.
- Establish and maintain process documentation as required, e.g. team documents, reference data including machine specific material consumption information, etc.
- Identify and evaluate data & process gaps and information flow issues and reporting of same to line Manager.
- Manage the product life cycle of materials and products (phase in/phase out).
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- High School Diploma with business practice or Commercial education;
- Experience of integrated manufacturing processes and knowledge of Bills of Material structure in connection with production processes and machinery (optional);
- Understanding of the processes leading to the creation/changes of product specifications;
- Good analytical skills;
- Numerical affinity with high accuracy;
- Well-developed IT literacy.
