Job description
- Proactively manage the team people working on Solvency II reporting: hire and retain right talent, prioritize and re-prioritize tasks, based on solid understanding of the impact
- Client relationship management on day to day basis
- Operations of management and future regulatory risk reporting for the Group and Operating Entities in scope of the Client\'s risk capital framework
- Standardized quarterly financial closing reports
- Monthly flash reports including ad-hoc reports
- ALM and Limit utilization reports
- Conduct regulatory reporting processes to meet Solvency II - pillar III requirements
- Conduct reporting quality and reconciliation controls
- Maintenance of the processes and technology applied within the Client’s risk reporting framework, e.g.
- System preparation for quarterly closing runs
- Communication with Operating Entities
Requirements
- University degree in mathematics, economics, physics or statistics
- Fluency in Business English (written & spoken) is mandatory
- Strong computer literacy in MS-Office (esp. PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Programming skills: VBA (required), SQL (would be an asset)
Candidate’s profile
- Industry relevant working experience in the financial reporting/analysis environment
Practical experience in internal and external reporting as well as management information systems (MIS)- High level of analytical skills
- Ability to establish and maintain internal and external working relationships with colleagues from different functions and cultures
- High level of reliability, dedication and commitment
- Ready to work extended hours at peak time (closing)
- Management of a team who needs to adapt to changing requirements from the Client and changing working shifts
- Ability to prioritize tasks depending on demand from the Client
- Must be able to work under pressure and be stress resistant
