The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:
"King of Prussia" Project is a new initiative being launched by BNP Paribas Securities Services in Warsaw. You will be the part of newly created Reconciliation Team consisting of 10 people.
Reconciliation Team ensures regular comparison of Client's positions on mutual and hedge funds. The role of Reconciliation Team refers also to identify any discrepancies and out of balance conditions supported by various reconciliation applications and follow-up on revealed differences until final resolution.
- Migration and set up a new reconciliation process from United States of America
- Ensure monthly reconciliation of Client"s holding (Fund units)
- Investigate the reason of each break, and obtain adequate back up to solve the break
- Book the appropriate corporate actions in order to reconcile the position
- Respond to any query from internal or external sources in relation to the activity
- Prepare and submit various monthly reports for management review
- Initiate process improvements, investigating and decreasing possible risks
- Fluency in English
- Capital markets knowledge (a commitment to learn about financial markets)
- Experience in Fund Industry and Reconciliation area will be an asset (for Specialist position - 2 years' experience required in mentioned fields)
- University degree or 5th year student (economy, banking, finance, accounting, managerial studies preferred)
