R&D Mechanical Design Engineer
R&D Mechanical Design Engineer is a member of the High Voltage Technology Center team, responsible for R&D and implementation activities in High Voltage Instrument Transformers. Person hired on this position will be responsible for introduction and development projects of new designs and for implementing improvements in existing products in cooperation with a group of specialists. Your responsibilities
- Performing implementation of projects in the field of new products and introducing changes to the existing ones - starting from the conceptual design to the production implementation stage.
- Analyzing and optimizing design of existing products.
- Designing of high-voltage Instrument Transformers.
- Develop innovative ideas for continuous improvements.
- Supporting other departments (production, sourcing, quality etc.) regarding implementation of changes in production process.
- Supervising and actively participating in producing prototypes.
- Participating in type and special testing of prototypes.
- Cooperating with international R&D departments, clients, and suppliers regarding performed projects.
- Take part of quality investigations.
- Creating and updating 2D/3D documentation.
- Fully integrate and work in line with company work and documentation system.
- Candidates at times may have to take up project management in the same role.
Your background
- Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Fresh graduates from universities are welcome.
- Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken, allowing to communicate in international environment easily.
- Good knowledge of the fundamentals of Mechanical engineering is required.
- Analytical and technical thinking, ability to solve problems.
- Innovation and creativity in the approach to solving problems.
- Communicative and able to work in a team.
- Good skills in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in creating technical documentation based on SolidWorks, Pro-E, Creo or another 3D environment. The candidate must be able to very quicky learn the 3D Modelling and documentation based on Creo platform.
