Your challenge:
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for components quality assurance via the cooperation with international base of suppliers. Part of your job will be management and optimization of incoming quality organization to achieve productivity targets. You will be strongly involved in New Product Introduction projects in scope of new components release within organization.
Your team:
In this role you will work in Quality Department in cooperation with teams responsible for supplier development as Procurement Engineering, Supplier Quality Assurance Department.
Your responsibilities:
- Participation in NPI (New Product Introduction) and transfer projects of Consumer Luminaires and Connected Lighting
- Cooperation with procurement in scope of new components, new supplier release
- Structural cooperation with base of international and local suppliers to assure expected components quality
- Incoming Quality Check management
- Preparation and verification of critical components list
- Managing components complaints, review of follow up actions
- Preparation of RoHS test schedule and follow up actions
- Reporting of supplier results
- Training of new operators in scope of component quality
- Control of relevant documents
Essential requirements:
- Higher technical education, preferred electronics, mechanics, quality management or derivatives
- Very Good level of English (spoken and written)
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment, preferably with direct/indirect contact with suppliers
- Professional knowledge proven by practical examples of quality tools
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, convincing power
- Very good work organization and execution of tasks in parallel
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Ability to work in a changing environment to meet demanding deadlines and timescales

- Good computer skills, particularly MS Office software required
