Quality Engineer

Main duties & responsibilities: - Provide daily/weekly/monthly reports on Quality defects, target attainment, defects analysis, yield analysis; - Define, implement and support Customer Audit process; - Implement a corrective action system ensuring root cause fixes to problems are identified and implemented; - Driver of quality improvements by working customer cares to resolution ensuring preventative actions are implemented; - Liaise with Customer Quality Engineer on the Quality of product received by customers; - Support New Product/Process Introductions by the development and timely implementation of Quality procedures and measurements, liaising with the NPI Co-Ordinator; - Ensure Customer quality requirements are met within the production and warehousing departments; - Develop and interpret quality standards; - Ensure all processes are ISO 9002 compliant at all times; - Lead Quality Improvement efforts in all areas through problem solving team initiatives; - Continuously develop audit processes in production and warehouse to ensure true reflection of Quality attainment; - Review the use of SPC/Process capability studies and make recommendations; - Standardise and simplify the reject/fall-out/returns handling processes; - Management of a group of quality operators across two shifts to achieve quality targets on a daily basis by maintaining a high level of skills, flexibility, morale and enthusiasm within the team; - Interface with shift manager, engineering and stores to achieve process optimization; - Set goals and objectives for the team. Provide ongoing counseling, guidance, performance management and training for all team members; - Involved in selection and local induction of new team members.

Wymagania

- The successful candidate will have a degree in Manufacturing/Electronic Engineering or Quality Assurance; - Expert knowledge of Quality Systems and ISO 9002; - At least 3 years related experience in an ISO 9000 compliant, high volume manufacturing environment with some supervisory experience in a team environment; - Proven successful experience of customer audits, regulatory audits in a lean WCM environment; - Excellent English both written and oral; - Team oriented; - Disciplined; - Flexible; - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
