Our client is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of parts for the automotive industry. Currently we are looking for them an experienced and talented person for Quality Engineer position.
Quality Engineer will be responsible for implementation and updating Series Control Plan and its related documents, controlling of measurements and test equipment done in Plant for its Customers, establishing information flow with customers Liason Engineers regarding quality to guarantee customer satisfaction, reviewing B2B customer portals with customers Liason Engineers (make sure the right quality criteria is transmitted from customer to production/Plant Quality SI/QITs. Train and develop QITs with customer requirements), occasionally visiting customers’ plants with Liason to detect improvements and get feedback of our products, reviewing scrap generated in production/TVS: align criteria between QITs, TVS and plant, daily follow-up of quality production conditions of their products. Validate that operators follow standards and red spots are placed when required, reporting to Production Customer Claims. Open and lead 8Ds in the plant: report in Customer Assistance, lead meetings and report 8D to Liason, manage 8D timing (D3 - 24h, D4 - 10days, D8 - 21days), opening and leading PDCAs to improve Quality Issues based on TVS data, production issues, customer concerns and/or non-quality costs), reporting weekly BOSS with TVS data for his/her products. Monthly report with Customer KPIs and highlights, opening quality alerts as needed (when information from customer is received) and also managing of external sorting company's in Customer if necessary, with the Quality Liason.
The ideal candidate should have bachelor degree (Mechanic and Machine Construction); Master Degree (Management and Production Engineering) or similar, min. 2 years professional experience in automotive industry, knowledge of: SPC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, G8D, PDCA, 5xWhy, Ishikawa, B2B, knowledge of languages: good level of English and German and moreover should have very good communication skills (good team worker), to be accountable, initiative and self-motivated person with leadership skills and to have positive attitude and high energy.
