Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager

As a result of dynamic growth of our organization we are currently looking for candidates for the position of Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager. Person hired on this position will be responsible for defining and implementing of short, medium and long term actions to improve safety, operating efficiency, quality and productivity in the entire value chain to improve customer satisfaction and reduce operating costs in a safe working environment.
Tasks:
- Defining and developing Quality and Continuous Improvement (Q&CI) strategies in line with ABB/Division/BU strategy and supporting their local adoption and deployment to accelerate the rate of operational improvement across the entire value chain;
- Working with local management team to set coherent and aligned improvement priorities and targets across the entire value chain, monitoring progress, analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and acting on deviations from targets;
- Deploying the standard quality improvement approach within all areas of the local organization to improve business practices and performance in a continuous and sustained way. Running projects to realize improvements in across the order delivery process;
- Ensuring that Lean and Six Sigma training and methods are implemented into the organization. Collaborating with respective teams (Operations, Engineering, etc.) to integrate Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles into the order delivery processes;
- Being responsible for the successful implementation and improvement of the Quality Management System;
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization;
- Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Key requirements:
- Higher degree: Master of Science/MBA preferred;
- At least 5 years of experience in working on similar position;
- Experience from leading improvement projects;
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification;
- Fluent written and spoken English matched with excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent ability to guide, coach and mentor others;
- Strong analytical and systemic problem solving skills.
