- Ensure that all activities related to steel production at subcontractors in Poland are planned, performed and documented in accordance with the project specification.
- Participate in inspection activities according to Inspection and Test plan (ITP) as required.
- Monitor relevant activities with emphasis on quality, schedule and HSE.
- Co-operate and liaise closely with representatives from clients, sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Monitor work progress against schedule and highlight areas of concern and possible corrective actions.
- Ensure that fabrication documentation is issued by subcontractor is in accordance with requirements.
- Participate in audits / verifications as required.
- Relevant engineering degree in combination with relevant practical work experience from marine/offshore industry.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
- Competence on design and/or manufacturing of steel construction for marine/offshore industry, preferably cranes.
- Knowledge on design, relevant rules, regulations and best practices for product.
- A general good mixture of practical and theoretical understanding is a preference.
- Good computer skills.
- Fluent English and Polish.
