Job Description
- Support the day-to-day PowerPoint exhibit production by providing quality assurance
- Quality control: review documents produced by Visual Graphics (VG) colleagues and mark up for transcription-related errors to be corrected before delivery to our internal customers (spelling, punctuation, grammar, digits, correct and complete transcription of the draft) as well as for adherence to (typo-)graphic standards
- Help VG colleagues on the job with transcription-related problems, e.g., complex drafts, scripts, instructions
- Respond to on- and off-the-job questions on spelling, grammar, usage, Firm guidelines/standards, and style. Perform quality-management-related administrative tasks, if and where required, e.g., collect, document, and/or track data used in quality and performance management.
Requirements
- Academic degree in German language Philology, linguistics, or a similar subject
- Strong verbal and written communication/language skills in German (C2 - CEFR1 or equivalent)
- Conversational knowledge of English
- IT literacy and some experience in working with MS Office, especially PowerPoint
- Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends/public holidays
- Distinct quality mindset and attention to detail
- Exceptional customer focus and the willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong process focus and drive for results
- Ability to work and stay focused under pressure
- Ability to build strong and trustworthy relationships with others and to effectively contribute to a highly collaborative work environment
