- Solid backend development, with at least 5 years coding experience incl. 3 years with Python
- Deep understanding of Microservices based architecture
- Proven experience with designing REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of database schemas
- Ability to write clean code
- Knowledge of OOP practices and patterns
- Ability to write tests and testable code
- Messaging experience, e.g. RabbitMQ
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix environment
- Experience of working with containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Working knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD will be an asset
- Design and implement backend components and Microservices in Python
- Work collaboratively with front-end developer integrating GUI with API, as well as other members of automation team
