MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
- Maintain and follow up on all cutting tools trading business transactions and increase the customer base.
- Execute the administration of day-to-day trading transactions of the automotive plastic parts business.
- Execute the administration of any spot trading transactions.
- Support office administration and general affairs.
- Develop new business including Phenol, particularly in Poland and other CEE countries under the
- Chemical & Electronics account.
- Support and assist the EBU/SC Division in the growth of their business, including other businesses under
- the relevant EBU.
POSITION IN ORGANISATION
- Reports to Regional General Manager, Warsaw.
SCOPE OF JOB
- Maintain close contact with new and existing customers and suppliers/vendors (including regular visits)
- Manage the just-in-time deliveries of the products
- Monitor receivable collections and take corrective actions where necessary
- Prepare the basic data for Prospects and Budgets
- Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements
- Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally to sustain ongoing business and facilitate new business.
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions as necessary
- Develop new regional business including Phenol in Poland and other CEE countries (including the Baltic countries)
- Visit and meet 1) new potential customers and suppliers not only in CEE countries but also other countries outside Europe; and 2) other SCEU offices in order to develop new business
- Negotiate contracts/commercial conditions with customers/suppliers, and internally
- Understand EBU/SC Division's strategy and their key focus areas with the view of investigating new business opportunities
