Accenture Operations is one of Accenture key capabilities dedicated to work on outsourcing engagements. These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, helpdesk services, and HR. - Serve as a single point of contact for voice and data connectivity for projects moving to a GDCN Center from a project management perspective
- Work with technical engineers on Data and Voice projects to make sure all project task are managed and dates are being met
- Highlight issues on a weekly tracker and manage escalations of resources until project completion
- Document and obtain sign off on requirements for voice and data connectivity change in scope during the project life cycle
- Review cost estimates for the voice and data network design with Project leads for accuracy
- Obtain management approval for voice and data network designs when needed
- Coordinate implementation of the voice and data network design among multiple teams
- Manage resources to validate proper operation of the network implementation
- Obtain signoff from the project team that the solution is operational
- Manage and verify the production of operational documentation for the final solution
- Produce weekly status report for the projects being supported
- Produce weekly time report of hours charged on various projects
- Project management experience of Data projects
- Knowledge of data network connectivity solutions
- Operational experience with many or all of the following platforms: Cisco routers, Cisco switches, Packeteer Packetshaper, Cisco ASA’s and SSL Juniper boxes
- Operational experience/knowledge on technologies like GRE tunnels and IPSec VPN and protocols like MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
- Very Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to plan and estimate work efforts
- Strong operational and client focus
- Strong technical background and analytical skills for appropriate design decisions and timely delivery of products.
- Problem-solving abilities for recognizing technical issues and developing appropriate solutions
- Knowledge of voice systems
- Client facing experience and skills
- The ability to use your knowledge of foreign language on a daily basis at work (we serve our Clients in almost 30 foreign languages)
