We are looking qualified engineers working with LG Europe R&D group. Model Leader will be responsible for final approval to production of devices to be launched in European Market (need to monitor constantly the overall development and validation status, provide reports to involved stakeholders, highlight and manage appropriately risks, guarantee time-to-market and quality requirements
Project Leader in LG Mobile Communication Company
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for launch on time and product quality (defines and control the technical project planning, time estimates and major milestones definition)
- Coordinate and monitor all parties of project, liaise with LG internal teams in main European countries
- Supervises the overall test progress and development of agreed features to manage appropriately the risk
- Documenting the projects by collecting and analyzing statistics and indicators for project
- Manages process for the projects to identify and improve processes for the project management activities for the interworking with other countries, departments and external entities
- Organizes and lead conference calls and meetings to share status of assigned projects with all Stakeholders.
- Issues periodical status and reporting to the top management (especially MS PowerPoint and MS Excel)
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or Engineering (ICT)
- Minimum 4 years experience in the mobile telecommunications industry with strong expertise in the Program Management, communication and customer-facing.
- In-depth knowledge of technologies applied in mobile devices
- In depth knowledge of the 2G/3G mobile network architecture with a wide background on wireless technologies (both radio & applications).
- In depth knowledge of main web protocols (TCP/IP suite, HTTP, IMAP, POP-3, SMTP, etc.)
- Genuine interest for new mobile technology trends and services
- Fluent in English
