Main responsibilities:
- Quality software development
- Participate as a developer on a large development team
- Ability to quickly come up to speed on a large, complex existing system
- Comfortable working in a team setting but able to work independently
- Be a member on a geographically diverse team
- Development methodology, processes and tools
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and processes
- Rally agile management tool
- SVN
- Development technologies
- Experience with Java technologies
- SQL Server and/or strong SQL experience
- Experience designing and integrating to web services
- Experience with design and use of XML and XSLT
- Experience reviewing application design and code assets
- Knowledge of data encryption, authentication, and other security methods
- Prefer experience in the travel industry and reservation booking processes (Sabre GDS)
Candidate’s profile:
- English: both oral and written - fluent
- Abilities to deal within a multicultural environment
- Communicate well with large multicultural team
- Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as exposure of Java, Agile, Subversion, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Rally.
- Knowledge of Sabre GDS and Turbo Sabre would be preferred as would experience in the travel industry and reservation booking processes.
- 2-3 years of experience in development
