Join our Purchasing Team as a Production Planner.

- Plans, schedules, releases and manages purchase and work orders as required
- Manages Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's), requests for Quotes, sources selection, price analysis and award purchase orders for assigned products
- Develops and execute strategies for negotiation of purchase order terms and post award supplier management
- Works with internal and external suppliers to resolve material issues (shortages, emergency customer demands, etc.)
- Develops and maintains communication channels between various departments and the Supply Chain to maintain the flow of materials to support the customer
- Reviews, communicates and acts upon anticipated delays
- Maintains and analyzes planning parameters (i.e. Lead times, lot sizes order quantities, safety stock)
- Reviews, analyzes and implements replenishment targets to support "pull" system
- Monitors and maintains inventory levels in alignment with business unit goals
- Supports CI/Lean projects
- University degree
- 2 years of work experience in planning/purchasing in manufacturing environment
- Solid knowledge of lot sizing, material planning and production scheduling
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Solid detail orientation and high organizational skills.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Teamwork abilities
- Analytical skills
- Fluent English skills, additional German skills will be an advantage
- Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Limited contract for 1.5 year
