When you’re driving human progress through technology, having cutting-edge production processes and procedures is crucial. That’s the remit of our Production Control team, which oversees the planning, forecasting, scheduling and monitoring of materials and orders through the production process. We approve quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization and perform scheduling and material requirements using appropriate tools. As well as reviewing stock against project requirements, we estimate and record the production rates.
- Work with managers to plan and manage production tasks to improve runtime
- Review production plans to identify and report potential risks to manager
- Develop inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and excesses
- Assist in processing customer orders and shipments according to the established schedule
- Review job orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules
- Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations
- Work with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on-time and within customer specifications
- 1+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- At least bachelor degree
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production control methods and production planning
- Excellent communication, writing and problem solving skills
- Very good working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Database configuration, creation and management supply chain
- Ability to determine the natural thru-put, recognize bottlenecks, potential stoppages and devise improvements and eliminate them with effective measures
- Flexibility in working hours and strong drive for change
- Proven project and time management skills
- Must be honest, objective and fair in reporting conditions and capabilities of the suppliers
