Our Client, an international automotive corporation starting up a manufacturing facility in Poland, is seeking to recruit an experienced candidates for the position of:
Product Homologation Specialist
South of Poland
The person will maintain product homologations and other certifications for products built in the EU, track and implement new EU and global product regulations, develop and maintain compliance management systems and conformity of production programs.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and maintain product homologation approvals for EU-manufactured vehicles, national type approvals, and technical files for machinery directive certifications.
- Ensure compliance with other potentially applicable product regulations such as REACH and RoHS.
- Develop and maintain compliance processes and systems including regulatory distribution controls and conformity of production (CoP) programs.
- Conduct product development process (PDP) and part release system (PRS) reviews to ensure compliance by design new products.
- Plan and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing to achieve product compliance validation, approval, and implementation.
- Represent the company on EU industry association technical committees.
- Facilitate market development by maintaining database of EU, national, and export market requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
- Prior experience in EU vehicle homologation and/or other EU product certifications.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Vehicle systems knowledge.
