Product Engineer
As a result of growth of our organization, ABB Medium Voltage Drives (MVD) is currently looking for candidates for a position of Product Engineer in our factory in Aleksandrow Lodzki. This person will have technical ownership of one or multiple MVD product families and be responsible to further develop and extend the product portfolio.

- Demonstrates solid technical proficiency in own competence area by performing a variety of technology and engineering assignments;
- Coordinate with a global team of functional experts and product management the schedule for product releases and the local implementation;
- Definition of replacement and disposition strategy for critical components (scrap, re-vamp, use until end);
- Follow-up of assembly and testing standards;
- Monitoring of factory and field quality on local basis, analysis and implementation of improvement actions, coordination with global teams;
- Optimizes BOM on local level, roll out via product release process and proposals to global teams;
- Review of engineered solutions and decision to productize as standard engineered option or even as standardized option;
- 3rd level support for sales and service;
- Implementation of new product functionality with R&D function.
- Higher technical education (electrical preferred);
- Previous experience in engineering (at least 2 years);
- Background in power electronics preferred;
- Fluent in English language;
- Previous experience with SAP preferred;
- Driving license;
- Strong results orientation;
- Good communication skills.
