The Global Shared Services (GSS) organization within DNV GL provides high quality, cost effective services and processes within Human Resources, Finance and IT, based on requirements defined by the business areas and Group. Local Unit & Position Description
GSS is expanding in Poland by building a Centre in Gdynia, delivering selected services within HR, Finance, Real Estate Management & Procurement.
We are looking for dedicated employees with strong skill sets, a professional service oriented attitude and team spirit. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building our new Centre and working within an international organization with a globally recognized brand.
The Procurement Specialist working with the SAP-System will be responsible for small product groups or product groups with low order volumes, e. g. office material and personal protection equipment.
The Procurement Specialist assists the regional Procurement Professionals by managing orders, key accounts and preparing information. In the next 2 years Procurement Specialist will assist with the roll out of the NGF-System – especially with the implementation of Oracle iProcure, and manage the supplier master data
Key Tasks
- Creating purchase orders for the internal customers according to the defined product groups and services
- Receiving the purchase requisitions, checks with existing contracts and purchase orders
- Being the contact person for internal and external customers and suppliers for operational questions.
Position Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience on a comparable position
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Very good German skills (at least level B2 CEFR)
- Fluency in English (level C1 CEFR)
- Previous employment within Procurement in a large international organization or SSC/BPO sector would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness
- Positive attitude, customer centric mindset and willingness to go the extra mile to meet organizational goals
- Attention to detail and deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload and manage conflicting deadlines
