The position is located in Supply Chain Finance, within Arla Supply Chain, with a strong link to the wider finance organization in Arla. Arla’s Procurement function is spread across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Poland, Bahrain, and Hong Kong and on behalf of our global organization we manage procurement activities of an annual spend of ~4 billion EUR.
Passion for Finance and value creation
As a Procurement Finance Specialist, you will play an essential role in translating procurement information to have a high business impact. You will drive finance-related procurement tasks from start to finish, collaborating with stakeholders within SC Finance, Corporate Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement.
- Co-design our procurement inflation reporting setup on selected categories to ensure timely and valuable information to the business, to enable e.g., correct pricing discussions.
- Bridge business requirements with Procurement processes and automate Procurement processes where possible.
- Help ensuring alignment across Arla on Procurement price updates and principles.
- Proactively challenge the performance reporting to support the right performance dialogues within Procurement.
- Support the Procurement Analysts on finance related topics.
Analytical and eager to make an impact
To succeed in this position, you should be comfortable with financial processes and driven to impact decision-making through financial information. Your strong analytical skills will be crucial for participating in various projects, from complex to hands-on day-to-day tasks.
In addition we imagine you have:
- A Master’s degree in economics or business administration, preferably combined with 2 years of business finance experience (experience in Supply Chain is a plus).
- A proactive, self-driven approach and eagerness to continuously improve.
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong English communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail with the ability to understand the big picture.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
