Dell is looking for a Process Staff Engineer responsible for evaluating existing industrial processes, designing new process plants/equipment and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production process. We are looking for a creative person with an innovative approach, capable of working well under pressure within a team environment. A relevant technical knowledge, project management experience, good communication, IT and analytical skills is required.
- New processes defining & implementation
- Drive large, complex projects or significant components of multiple projects
- Identify operational inefficiencies, implement best practices and lead continual improvement projects
- Implement process controls and new technical infrastructure
- Use project management methodology as a tool to defining problems and identifying areas of greatest opportunity
- Initiate process improvements, innovation ideas, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process
- Degree in Engineering required
- 6+ years working experience in Engineering
- 2+ years minimum project management experience
- Ability to coordinate the various aspects of the process engineering, including design, planning and development
- Global experience working with multiple regions and cross functional teams
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to resolve complex problems independently
- Ability to use documentation and technical drawings
- Fluency in English and Polish – both written and spoken
- Experience with Lean Methodology
