Elavon is seeking a Principal Network Engineer that will Supervises integration of network solutions and services. Leads, directs, or recommends cross-functional support for system enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity. Evaluates product and service solutions. Supervises and develops enterprise engineering solutions targeted to meet existing, enhanced, and new network service platform solutions for business and infrastructure services.
Subject matter expert in network technologies. Leads advanced knowledge sharing and recommendations for network: voice, data, security, data transmission systems, equipment capabilities, products, services, features and configurations. Supervises and develops new solutions and integrated service offerings to meet large-scale or enterprise projects or service requirements.
Provides senior network technical leadership, representing network organization. Supervises development, often leading cross-functional technical team driving efforts for performance improvement, expansion, and procedures across multiple/converged services and platforms.
Leads or provides guidance for advanced technical support for multiple and converged systems and services.
Collaborate and develop capacity and resource planning to optimize new and expand existing network system.
- Proficient in Wireshark and other protocol analyzers, Observer and Netscout. Expert level in packet analysis on IP and IPv6 protocols, TCP, etc. Good communication skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills a must.
- Experience with enterprise level networking solutions.
- Experience with load balancing solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and routing disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 years network evaluation, planning, and performance monitoring.
