What job will you do?
- leads work within an analytical laboratory for Manufacturing Science & Technology
- coordinates work related to the development and qualification of analytical methods
- manages a team of employees and drives forward the improvement of efficiency and effectiveness
- participates in tasks related to research and development projects, if applicable
- administrates assigned laboratory equipment and laboratories in ways that ensure maximum productivity
- cares about safety
- cares about the quality and timely execution of tasks and is fully committed to compliance with applicable procedures
What do we expect from you?
- higher education, preferably PhD with a specialization in the fields: biotechnology, biology, chemistry or related
- at least 5 years’ experience in team management and conducting research and development projects
- experience of working in an analytical laboratory or quality control laboratory in pharmaceutical or biotech works
- knowledge of regulations and guidelines for good laboratory practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) contained in the ICH, FDA, EMEA and national guidelines
- knowledge of a wide range of analytical methods as liquid chromatography, mass spectroscopy, with reference to the analysis of proteins and peptides, circular dichroism, iso-electrofocusing, electrophoresis (1D, 2D), peptide mapping, etc.
- knowledge of issues related to the methods of molecular biology, genetic engineering, cell culture, analytical methods, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics
- fluent English spoken and written
- advanced team management and organizational skills
- strong communication and presentation skills
