PHP Developer with WordPress
Responsibilities:
- maintenance and development of existing applications as a member of the Agile team
- analyzing requirements, designing and implementing optimal technical solutions
- taking care of high quality (e.g., doing code review) and the effectiveness of created solutions and their testing (e.g., writing unit tests)
- building secure solutions
- monitoring applications
- task estimation
- creating and updating documentation
- cooperation and support for other team members
- cooperation and support for other teams and departments in the company
- reporting of work progress
- constant improvement of qualifications

What we expect:
- good knowledge of web application characteristics and environment (HTTP protocol, cookies, session, etc.)
- excellent understanding of PHP7/PHP8
- knowledge of clean code (SOLID, GoF design patterns, TDD)
- good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL)
- experience with teamwork using Git
- practical knowledge of Docker
- skill with Redis
- experience with AMQP
- knowledge of ELK stack
- understanding WordPress architecture, experience with building WordPress plugins
- skill with unit testing
- familiarity with security aspects of web applications (OWASP Top 10)
- very good command of English
- command of Polish would be an asset
Nice-to-have:
- practical knowledge of Kubernetes
- acquaintance with CI/CD
- understanding of performance and scalability aspects of web applications
- experience with GitLab, JIRA, Crucible, Confluence
