Dell Factory Sustaining team provides support to our internal configuration and product test processes for Servers, Storages, Desktop Systems. This includes support of products hardware configuration as well as automated software installation phases for all computers manufactured in Europe. Working with highly skilled technical analysts, you will:
- Provide technical support for produced hardware (Desktop/Servers/Storages) - identify issues, investigate root causes and recommend solutions to reported problems.
- Provide technical guidance in activities associated with identifying, prioritizing and resolving problems directly on production lines as well as by telephone and e-mail.
- Screen, refer, and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests relating to PC’ configuration, L1/L2 support for hardware test process and automated software installation process.
- Support and advisory in case of ordered configurations for customer systems.
- Assist during failure analysis and provide recommendations for repair technicians.
- Track and address reported test and system configuration issues to higher support levels if needed this includes attendance in business meetings and providing regular updates regarding work progress.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and technologies (Client and Servers solutions).
- University education, preferably technical degree (IT, Electronics, Controls and Automation) or Microsoft certifications.
- Up to two years’ experience that shows good knowledge of computer hardware and software services, Microsoft Operating Systems Architecture, local and remote administration and TCP/IP network services.
- Fluency in English and Polish.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills plus the flexibility to work shifts.
- Experience of providing in person (onsite) and remote IT support.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to identify problems and implement solutions.
- Ability to create reports and provide updates to business operations teams.
