Payments Team Leader with Czech / Hungarian / Romanian / Slovak

Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership within the Payment process to ensure all deliverables are successfully achieved regarding operational performance, people management, and adherence to compliance requirements. Support and implement required transformations as needed
- Act as a final reviewer of Payments data / submissions to ensure accuracy
- Lead, motivate and develop process team (manage resources, follow-up issues, monitor performance)
- Ensure that, as a process responsible, the process is compliant with company policies and procedures, and audit requirements
- Support the SSC Manager in identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvements in processes, systems and procedures, setting process team targets
- Ensure service is delivered with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and in accordance with the SLA
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and translate the vision and strategy of Payments from a systems, process, policy, and procedures perspective
- Understand the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of the financial processes and systems; ensure the existence of adequate internal controls
- Support Payments SAP User Access Management and address any segregation of duties that may arise
- Research, analyze and resolve Payment issues
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the Payments processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting / Business Administration is required
- 3-5 years of experience in management of a high volume transactional finance function
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with people management in a transactional finance context
- Experience in using SAP (or other ERP)
- Very good command of English is essential (international environment)
- Very good knowledge of Czech, Hungarian, Romanian or Slovak language (Polish is not a must)
- Deep understanding of Payment process, strong knowledge of IFRS
- Good understanding of the Controlling processes
- Competent Microsoft Office user (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong negotiation, communication and influencing skills
- Strong analytical mind and organizational skills
- Open minded, receptive to change
