- Checking the bank account formats
- Maintain awareness of relevant JSOX controls and ensure compliance
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Make payments via City direct and other platforms
- Ensuring that all payments have been processed successfully
- Creation of In House Cash payments runs
- Identifying rejected payments
- Contact with Citibank and other banks to log queries and address payment issues
- Working with Accounts Receivable to submit Customer Direct Debits to the bank and process ad hoc customer payments
- You have an University degree (Accounting and Finance)
- At least 1 year experience working in accounting teams (Accounts payable/ Accounts receivable)
- Knowledge of banking requirements
- Excellent customer skills
- Strong command of English Language (oral and written)
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient SAP Power skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Accounting qualification (completed or WIP) is a plus
