The Part Validator role is the technical role which objective is to work remotely and provide technical research and identification of our products spare parts or tools. This role will be part of global service organization and would support internally Tornos organization.
- Provide World Class Customer Support to internal customers’ ensuring their needs are met quickly and efficiently
- Be Accountable for efficient process of parts identification
- Obtain and demonstrate the expertise in a core technology (electrical, mechanical, electronic, etc.)
- Support Tornos Group and Tornos Service strategy realization and contribute to overall business strategy by demonstrating appropriate attitude and create positive visibility
- Demonstrate collaboration, alignment and flexibility to Tornos Service transformation program and overall Tornos Group strategy
- Responsible for Identification of parts, bar feeders, toolbox with technical issue by appropriate research on necessary information, study part image
- Study necessary technical documentation, drawings to complete parts identification
- Archiving all documentation and instructions for new parts or parts updates in order to improve parts database quality
- Inventory checks for incorrect delivery from outside
- Analysis of the return, suppling manufactory problems (when we can still use parts)Create tasks for Master Data update if necessary
- Open, Analyze and validate Material in SAPProvide exact, high quality information on a equipment or tooling
- Escalate to next level support if needed
- Ensure stakeholders’ needs are met quickly and efficiently
- Perform related duties as assigned or required to meet company goals and objectives
Technical:
- Deep technical knowledge on machine elements, spare parts, material, barfeeders (all technical specification and BOM)
- Deep technical knowledge on toolbox and mapping with products
- Technical knowledge of Tornos products, its structure, functionalities and operations
- Ability to write / update technical documentation
- Computer literacy
- Good command of written and spoken English
