There is an opportunity to join the great world of Packaging in the MCEE region of MARS Inc.
The job purpose is to deliver the MCEE R&D Strategy through the management of Packaging Efficiency and Quality projects for CE Region in collaboration with key stakeholders for example: Supply, Commercial, Engineering, Retailers. We are looking for someone attracted by the Packaging with open minded and collaborative behavior with high learning agility profile.
The job is based at Sochaczew (Masovian, Poland) and is a part of a Regional Efficiency and Quality team covering 3 countries. He will report to the Packaging Efficiency Manager based outside of Poland. In this role English is the main language; Polish is also required.
- The role is to drive the development, approval, implementation and optimization of packaging specifications in line with the Mars quality standard and external legal framework
- Handling 5-8 high profile projects and 1-2 complex projects at the same time
- Contribute to the team delivery of the efficiency targets and improving total efficiency and quality via agreed projects on packaging, including factory related projects and Trade Partner driven projects.
- Maintaining a healthy supplier security via qualification of multiple suppliers
- Managing and leading technical work stream to optimize and influence the final solution, business process, including Mars quality standards
- Creating and sharing project plans for all activates focusing on packaging development tasks
- Identifying, evaluating and documenting risk assessment and run risk management for all activities
- Organization, preparation, execution and documentation of line trials in order to validate & approve packaging specifications
- Recognized as an expert and be able to coach and support stakeholders, also Associates
- Graduate of University education in Packaging Technology or similar technical education
- Minimum 3 to 5 years professional experience in quality, research and development or similar
- Able to coordinate a team cross different divisions and potentially to influence senior managers
- Sound knowledge in Packaging Materials and machine interaction
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking for future successful packaging efficiency solutions
- Risk-Assessment and Management in line with supply chain process
- Understanding of technical documentation, e.g. drawings, construction and specifications
- Good computer skills: systems as a Veritas, SAP, MS Office
- Fluent in English and Polish language (verbal and written)
- Able to take decisions in a collaborative environment with the ability to recommend and influence
