As an Order Manager Consumables you will have the opportunity to coordinate the entire order delivery process placed by Key Markets through pro-active collaboration with other Supply Chain functions such as Catalogue Management, Finance, Planning, Shipping also Project Management, Sales and others.
Apart from that, you will contribute to changing the team from a traditional order management team to a team that acts as an extension of the account managers in the field, assisting them and the customers with part enquiries, providing historic sales data as well as detecting potential leads for the Consumables business. Your challenge is to balance the requirements of ensuring a seamless order flow while providing a result-driven and proactive customer experience.
You are responsible for:
- Management of sales orders with high volume and low value, a cycle time ranging from 3 to 5 working days placed by hospitals.
- Process order activities in SAP and other supporting applications.
- Process order changes due to Customer or Factory requests.
- Maintain good communication with stakeholders.
- Provide excellent customer service for our customers in the UK
- Reporting, monitoring and control of order book in an organized and compliant manner (ICS/SOx).
- Together with team members continuously implementing improvements through Lean tooling and disciplines.
You are a part of the order management Team. Consumables Order Managers are responsible for managing customer orders from order acceptance, order cleaning, order entry up to delivery and invoicing to customers for all fast flow customer orders of Philips Healthcare in the EMEA region (mainly Patient Monitoring and Respiratory care business segment). The order management department is divided over several teams (approx. 8-10), each led by a Team Lead who reports directly into the Director of Order management. The division of teams is based on the Value Stream Process set-up within the commercial organization.
You will work within an international team and you will report to the Team Lead Order Management.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor degree or vocational (MBO) degree with relevant work experience
- 1-2 years experiences within Order Management
- Knowledge of Logistics / supply chain.
- Very Good level English and Polish.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or equivalent ERP systems (would be an advantage).
- Strong customer service orientation and problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills (to factories and customers).
- Cultural awareness and pro-active behavior.
