Job description:
- Architecture and Consulting for end-to-end Oracle E-Business Suite/Database administration.
- Provide support to projects developing new applications or changes to existing applications.
- Performance analysis and system level tuning.
- Enterprise level change management processes and procedures.
- Proactive monitoring, deep investigations & trouble-shooting.
- Customer ordered audits and Security.
- Provide consultancy for ongoing projects
Qualifications:
- BSc/ MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with setup and administration of the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Database 11g/12c
- Performance tuning & capacity management experience.
- Strong Linux skills (EBS/DB platform administration) and networking concepts understanding
- Infrastructure automation & monitoring tools i.e. Ganglia, Nagios, Zabbix.
- Scripting languages i.e. Ruby, Python, bash
- Backup/Recovery, Data Replication and Disaster Failover concepts and implementations.
- Oracle E-Business Suite upgrading, managing printers within the Oracle E-Business Suite
- Strong English language skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills.
- Autonomous, strong ownership and drive to get things done.
- Eagerness to learn and adaptability to changes.
- Certifications confirming gained skills (Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Applications Database Administrator Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Administrator Professional)
- Infrastructure automation tools i.e. Chef, Puppet
- Knowledge of German language will be an additional advantage.
- Should be highly mobile and willing to travel internationally on short notices (min 3d week, desired 4-5days /week).
