For our partner, a global investment bank, we are looking for Oracle DBA.
- Oracle Database administration (Exadata, classic environment)
- Analysis of current perimeter and needs for future setups
- Supporting evaluations with application teams on the migration strategy/Database needs
- Preparing the migration plans in alignment with application teams and system support team
- Developing automations for new Database creation and configuration (leveraging on Ansible)
- Developing automations for Database maintenance (patching) and operations automation (export/import) (leveraging on Ansible)
- Creation of new Databases following the standards and automation
- Migration/Upgrades of databases
- Monitoring of databases (manual architecture and using OEM)
- Patch management of managed environments
- Capacity management of virtualization environments
- Performance tuning of managed environments
- Support for incidents and problem management
- Every 3rd month working with 3 week shift: 1 week morning shift (6am - 2 pm), 1 week afternoon (2 pm - 10 pm), 1 week night shifts (10pm - 6 am). The rest of the weeks are standard business hours.
- Solid experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of dedicated database virtualization platforms (Exadata) will be nice to have
- Knowledge of Data Guard, Vault, TDE and other key Oracle DB features
- Knowledge of Network/Storage (SAN/NAS)/Backup (TSM/Commvault/NetBackup) aspects/solutions related to Server administration
- Experience related to monitoring and tuning of Oracle databases
- Experience with Ansible would be nice to have
- Fluency in English
