Operations Manager

WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING
- You are responsible for the whole operations area including maintenance as well as the supply chain (including planning) and quality
- Make sure that relevant processes within the organizational units are running according to the defined framework
- Working on permanent improvement of processes, quality, and operational excellence together with your direct reports and ensure the highest possible operational- and quality-standards
- Taking care that documentation and reporting in our systems is done correctly and as well as provide all necessary information regarding operational topics to the local and regional management (this also includes the monitoring of the achievement of manufacturing objectives and KPIs)
- Management of the budget within the responsible areas as well as planning investment projects and carrying them out in the plant
- Responsible to act according to legal requirements, ensure a Health and safe work environment as well as implement all requests from external audits and certifications
WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT
- Completed technical education (engineering degree)
- Experience as an operations manager in a manufacturing plant in a similar or comparable industry
- Enhanced knowledge within the fields of manufacturing, production planning, lean management, maintenance, and logistics
- Ability to make decisions, also under time pressure and within complex tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership competence
- Hands-on mentality is a must as well as problem-solving skills and a high grade of flexibility and stress resistance
- A very good command of English as a necessary condition
