Currently we are looking for candidates for a position of:
- Provide leadership and direction for all operations departments
- Be accountable for technical feasibility, resources needs, cost and saving expectations
- Create, implement and maintain medium and short term production plans based on sales needs
- Define annual operations budget in cooperation with internal customers and the Area Management
- Manage staff including workload analysis, headcount requirement, new staff recruitment and performance review including KPI evaluation
- Lead planning department, giving target and effective support to reach the respect of the production plans
- Oversee the daily activities of the whole production department
- Support purchasing department in defining general strategy and targets
- Set departments efficiency monitoring systems and procedures and ensure the respect of the targets received by the Area Management
- Master of Science in Engineering Industrial technology or similar degrees
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a multinational manufacturing or systems integration company, preferably focused on the supply of automation solutions
- Previous experience as Production Manager for operations or production of capital goods equipment
- Excellent managerial skills and ability to work in cross-border networks
- Market and local suppliers knowledge, in particular for automation components and services (engineering, machining, assembly)
- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and electrical schemes
- Knowledge of the principles of operation of a Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system is a plus
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written, preferably good German and/or French
