Our Client is an organization which supplies its Client (mainly OEMs) with ready-to-install components. The company has been established in 1950 in Finland and today represents approx. 23 mln EUR turnover with the headcount on the level of 90 persons working in its companies in Finland, Estonia and China (Chinese team is mainly to control and support local production partners, secure logistics, etc.). This set up allows to meet different Clients’ expectations. Foundries based in Europe are able to deliver a very demanding short series, meanwhile the operation based in China is more focused on a standard and “mass” production. The company is building its competitive advantage on the basis of very close cooperation with the Client, in-depth understanding of Customer needs and delivering not only the top quality product but also securing the whole logistics. In a nutshell, our Client is a Partner who can secure, that the right component is in the right place, on the right time, in the right quantity and is ready to assemble.
Nowadays, the decision to open a small operation in Poland has been made. This entity (2-3 persons), which will be managed by the Operations Manager, will be responsible for securing the highest service level for one of key Client’s, solving day-to-day issues, account management, execution of all provisions of contract between our customer and its Client. In order to fulfill this mission, we are looking for highly committed individual who will take a role of Operations Manager / Value Stream Leader.

Leading and developing the polish entity, effective management of the whole organization (including outsourced functions, e.g. logistics) as well as external stakeholders (mainly Clients)

Overall responsibility for all sales activities in Poland. Active searching for new Clients / opportunities

Acting as a Key Account Manager for Clients. Solving all issues related with the cooperation, being a speaking Partner to key functions on Client’s side (purchasing, logistic, production, R&D) and key people (including Top Management)

Securing the positive operating result (P&L responsibility – to be discussed)

Close co-operation with internal stakeholders (production facilities, global KAM, Group CEO)

Planning and executing sales and marketing activities in line with sales strategy

Enlarging the market share

Participation in cross-boarder projects

Reporting to HQ

Overseeing all quality issues

University degree (preferably technical degree related with production, supply chain, metal engineering or metalurgy)

Several years of experience on the similar position within industrial and/or logistic environment

Experience in account management in OEMs world will be considered as a strong asset

Ability to work in the international environment (fluent English is a must, good knowledge of German would be a plus)

In-depth knowledge of value stream and supply chain management

Knowledge related with metal casting processes would be a strong adventage
Furthermore, you should present a high level of drive and commitment, as well as hands on attitude.
