Currently we are looking for the candidate for the position of:
Operations Manager – Procurement
Location: Lodz, Poland
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and coordinating procurement engagement in day to day operations
- Ensuring Service Level Agreements are met
- Handling escalations and providing ongoing support to the client
- Planning and monitoring department budget compliance
- Establishing and maintaining effective relationship with client’s key stakeholders
- Representing operations towards client delivery management organization
- Ensuring efficiency & high quality of procurement processes
- Driving improvements and LEAN culture
- Securing knowledge management within the engagement
- Implementing career development & succession plan for the direct reports in order to ensure sustainable employee engagement & motivation within department
- Coordinating all HR aspects (also recruitment if applicable)
Requirements:
- Fluent English (verbal & written), other European language would be an advantage
- Leadership experience or min 2 years of experience on similar position
- Good understanding of procurement processes
- Customer orientation and experience in maintaining relationships with client on managerial level
- Drive for results and focus on quality
- Stress resistance and willingness to work in dynamically changing environment
- Personal efficiency, time management and planning skills
- Independence and decision-making skills
- Pro-active and preventive approach in problem-solving
- Willingness to work with different nationalities
- Sourcing experience will be an asset
