Operational IT Security Coordinator

Main tasks:
We are now looking for an Operational IT Security Coordinator to focus on operational IT security processes.
An Operational IT Security Coordinator will be the management interface for the Security Operations Center (SOC) team and by that responsible for supporting the SOC team with strategic steering and reporting as well as driving the improvement and strategic planning in that area.
- develop and maintain SOC vision, strategy, and high-level goals,
- develop and maintain SOC governance including steering documents, like instruction guidelines, procedures and services,
- develop and maintain operational IT security competence in the organization,
- manage and run security projects in relation to the implementation of SOC services,
- coordinate operational reporting,
- ensure performance of operational IT security processes by solving potential resource conflicts or conflicts of interest,
- plan and secure necessary resources for operational IT security.
Requirements:
- strong leadership skills, applying a people oriented, participative and coaching style,
- specialized in the field of IT Security with a focus on operational IT security,
- a university degree (MSc) in e.g. Information Technology, Business Informatics or Computer Science,
- at least 3 years of experience in comparable IT security roles, IT security certificates are of additional value,
- experience in handling international projects is required,
- good reporting skills are essential,
- a sound balance between analytical thinking and business sense, ability to take in the bigger picture of a business/company situation,
- fluent in English,
- willing to travel within Europe.
