About this opportunity
Welcome to the Problem Management team. We add value by prevent Problems and resulting Incidents from happening, eliminate recurring Incidents, minimize the impact of Incidents that cannot be prevented and ultimately make sure IT services are stable, timely and accurate. As Problem Manager, you’ll play a valuable role in investigating an underlying root causes of IT Incidents and Problems and defining preventives which help to avoid re-occurence of the issues and eventually stabilize IT environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- As a Problem Manager you will be accountable for analysis and resolution actions of business critical problem investigations,
- Coordinate operational meetings to find root causes and secure that the quality is according to agreed standards,
- Govern the lifecycle of the preventive measures established during an investigation and ensure this is reported weekly to senior management,
- Keeping the problem record accurate and up to date on a daily basis,
- Delivering high quality and first-class service and support,
- Maintain and keep Problem Management process up to date,
- Interact on a global level with different IT groups within Nordea.
You’ll join an international, cross-border team of problem managers who play a vital role in overall operations stability of IT services. The role is based in Warsaw.

Your experience and background:
- Technical IT background, either professional or educational,
- Knowledge and professional experience of ITIL processes and ITSM tools (certificate will be an advantage),
- Fluent written and spoken English,
- Problem management skills.
- Knowledge of PowerBI, Excel, Splunk will be an advantage.
